700 series saginaw boxes are 3-5 pounds lighter than the 600 series Saginaw boxes. but all the aftermarket companies I would assume are using a stock GM box, just rebuilding it with new guts and new gears.
you can always buy one that has been cnc lightened.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool. -

if using a GM Metric length arm most do the 6:1
arm length on steering box and idler arm have an effect as well.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.Comment

Not sure what years and models, but I would assume starting around 2000 model years 2500 and 3500 4x4's
