    Cam and Lifter Question

I hope this isn't a dumb question...I know someone buying a top-end from a fellow racer. Intake, heads, cam, and lifters. I know that lifters(flat tappet)break in on the camshaft. Can the lifters be used again in another block. I was thinking that the bores may have a slightly different angle and may not break back in on camshaft.

Its not the block that you have to worry about. Its the cam lobes. As long as the lifters are kept in order so they can go back on the same lobe then you can use them again.
My sarcasm is a pre-emptive strike to your stupidity!!

That is correct i've switch cam with motors before with no problems but if your not sure on the lifter location with the cam just put new lifters in and it will be fine.

        not hardly

Lifter locations vary quite a bit, but it still doesn't seem to bother a cam/lifter combo that is still in good shape. You should NEVER install new lifters on an old cam, or visa versa.TB
