Okay... so I feel kinda funny even mentioning this but... last Friday I was inducted into the Luxemburg Speedway Hall of Fame.
I reopened the joint in 1987 after it had been shuttered since the '81 season. Turned it around in two seasons but left after too many bad calls by the fairboard.
Never regreted my time there...Friday we had a great party afterwards with the three other folks who also were voted in to the hall.
Okay.... back to our regular programming.
