TLDR: 17 years in the music biz, then I went and did my JD and LLM. I'm planning to move before entering the profession (and I had some other stuff go down) and so I'm currently back working as engineer at a buddy's studio. Things have kind of ramped up a bit so maybe I'll stick with music if it treats me well. I don't regret doing my degree(s) one bit however.
