HICKORY, NC – Race fans in attendance at tonight’s Circle K Showdown at ‘The Dirt Track’ at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be one of the first to have a chance of winning a free cruise to the Bahamas’ courtesy of the Carolina Auto Racing Show.
Simply scan the QR code of the roof of Steve Shaver’s #6 World of Outlaws entries at any time during the event and follow the link to be eligible. Shaver’s car will be in action throughout the next month or so and will also be on hand for the World Finals November 1, 2 & 3 at Charlotte.
It is free to register for the cruise and it will be given away on Saturday afternoon January 5th, as part of the closing ceremonies of the second annual Carolina Auto Racing Show (CARS) held January 4-5, 2013 in Hickory, NC.
In an effort to stream-line the credentials process at CARS 2013 the cruise is a tool to help reward those to choose to register early. “We are trying to be pro-active and get a head start on the registration process for the attendees,†said CARS Jimmy Schiltz. “With the success of last year’s event and the enormous response we have already had to the upcoming show we expecting a very large turnout of attendees. This simply gives us a way to speed up the registration process as those who have pre-registered will simply show their photo ID to purchase their tickets into the show. Their badges will waiting for them and they can begin enjoying the show sooner. “
The inaugural Carolina Auto Racing Show was held last January at the Hickory Metro Convention Center. The show was extremely well attended and from all accounts very positive from exhibitors and attendees as well.
The 2013 show will be held once again at the Hickory Metro Convention Center January 4-5, 2013. Plans are being finalized now for a complete show schedule along with seminars and banquets. Last year’s event saw over 230 hard-core industry booths and this year’s edition promises to be even larger.
