One of the best comedians ever, George Carlin, passed away on this day in 2008.
I had the distinct pleasure of seeing George in person back in the 1990's. He was all by himself and was funny beyond expectations. I didn't always agree with his political slant on things but he was hilariously funny no matter the subject matter.
Rest in peace Mr. Carlin, you were a special performer.
