Where in the block does the oil galley plug that has the long tapered shaft go?
Is it necessary to run this style, all my other blocks have regular short plugs in front and back of block.

Have you tried swapping the lines on the master cylinder? If this gives you more rear brake vs front then it will prove the volume ratio is off.

This discussion came up about a v8 and I thought I'd ask to see what the "norm" is for a flattop 2.3 Ford.

Use felpro 91806 intake gasket, it does not have the water hole.

Have you checked the pickup in the fuel cell? Had an issue once and the hose was bad at the bulkhead fitting in the cell.

We run the Holley blue pump and regulator set at 6psi (6an fuel line, no return) with no issues. 1/4 mile track at about 8000 rpm.
