    Default Take off?

On starts and restart I would get pulled about 2 to 3 car lengths. Once I get up to speed I could run the car in front of me back down. What is some things I can check or do to help this. Thanks in advance.

Run an auto in 2nd… on a slow restart take off in 1st and you'll suck the fake doors off the competition.

I'm running a 3 speed with direct drive… not everyone runs a PG by choice or because of the rules.

Thanks for the replies. The gear is fine I think. We turning right at the rpms we want. We run a three speed. We are advancing the cam a couple degrees.

Make sure your mechanical advance is locked out...advance cam alittle...try loosening the valve lash a little.

I would look at your carburetor, it could be tuned or sized wrong for your engine.
