Yep, the front wheel drives won enduros in NY/VT when I ran up there. One handicap for them is in a longer run (above a 50 lapper). Usually the big cars either took them out from the constant colliding or something in the suspension would give. Also, the little cars started up front so, they had this advantage from the get go. Probably another reason the big cars won the longer races too; they had more time to catch the front pack.
Really, we ran destruction derbies instead of enduros. I say this b/c just like in the game, cars were left on the track and you had to dodge and maneuver around them while running!
