    Default forward bite

im running a rrc 4bar car with 750 lf 650 rf 175 lr 200 rr 100 pounds lr. bite 7 inches of rake in j bar bolt in first hole below pinion. car corners great and is fast just needing a little more forward bite coming out. i thought about taking some rake out but dont want to hurt my cornering ability. would going to a 700 rf spring hurt me? only problem is in the dry slick. were a top 5 car so i have to be close,,, just dont want to go the wrong way.. car is chevelle clip 4bar 4 bar. i set it up by grt specs.. has integra shock package.. any ideas? thanks

    Default just a thought

Reading through this, you say cornering is what you like (car is good) but looking for forward bite. That tells me the "balance" of the car is good but you are short traction off the corner. Have you thought about the pull bar/3rd link/torque arm set up?

More angle may be an option. Do you run a progressive spring or if its biscuits, are the wore out? This would be an area to explore because you are saying other areas of handling are pretty good.

    Just an opinion.

    Default RF

Put the 700 in the RF. I done that on a chevelle car and it was much better, just have to make sure that you RF has a soft compression and a big tie down so the RF will not want to jump up too fast.

650 and a 700# spring on a chevelle is only 17.5 lb actual rate difference
100lb spring change is acutally a true 35 lb difference because of the 35% motion ratio of the chevelle a arm.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

Move the pull bar more to the left on the axle or try less rear steer to the right.
