Default Brodix track 1 383 combo???

I'm building a new motor for next season and need some proven combo advise. It's going in a ump mod and only has to be iron block and wet sump. I'm on a very tight budget and need some direction. I already have a nice set of track 1's and was thinking of building a 383 so what are some suggestions? I'm not looking to make 700 horse but I just need something reliable.

Not a bad combination just be sure you have a good block. If you can afford an aftermarket block build a 406ci with 6.125 rods.

I also have a good weiand team g or Vic jr intake to use. I'm not set on 383 either if it matters. A good 355 would work I guess.

Sell those 2 intakes and buy you an edelbrock 2925.

How about a Brodix HV1000 ? I have a similar combo, but that is the intake I have.

The HV1000 is a pretty good intake, just not as good as the 2925.The HV1000 has two bad runnners, one on each side that has a bad turn in them.
