    Default Vortec Bowtie runner selection

Running in an emod class for next year. Thinking of trying the vortec bowtie heads but unsure of runner size to choose.
    355 w/ small dome
    15 in. vacuum rule
    4412 willy's
    edelbrock 2814
    2500 lbs
would like to turn 7000-7300 rpm

So which heads should I be looking at? The 185cc or 225cc head? My gut is telling me to go with the 185cc for the throttle response, but will they give up higher rpm?

The 4412 will run out of breath before the 185 cc head.

I have a set of the large ports for sale but you don't need them with a 4412 rule engine.

The 185 runners are the ones you want. I've got a set for sale done by Brzezinski.

small ports are good to 540 hp, and with a vacuum rule cam and a 4412, you wont get close to that
