    Default Cylinder head ????

I have a set of bowtie phase 2 and was wondering if they would be a good head on a 2 barrel 400 base motor , verses a dart 215 with mild port work , thanks for any opions good or bad, thanks again

I would use the bowtie heads I feel the 215cc runner on a two barrel engine will hurt you coming out of the corner.

I think it really depends on the complete combination. I remember when Bill H built that 500 cfm gauge legal 360" sbc that made 536 hp. He used Dart 215 runner heads. We used the 215 runners with our 2 bbl 360' engine and it made 465 hp with good power everywhere..

But what about throttle response dyno numbers don't show how quick an engine is
