    Can anyone tell me the TOTAL cost of switching to a 525? Headers, Carb, Water pump etc....

    Engine - $7500
    Water Pump/Power Steering Pump Kit - $1700
    Engine Mounts - $50
    Carb - $1400
    Headers - $400
    Flywheel - $550
    Starter - $150
    -------------------------
    Total = $12,000

    You might have some other expenses depending on if you take the coil packs off and go with a distributor. I think some are sending the controllers off to be reprogrammed.

    I've never owned one, just looked into it. The one I've raced against was pretty impressive. No clue if it was still "stock".

    Do you have to run a certain carb with these and can you use a bert flywheel and starter?

    Yes you can use the bert flywheel starter. It takes a special flywheel for the CT525.

    Edit: After searching i may of spoke too soon. All i found online was brinn parts for the ct525. Might call bert may of started selling it and not put it in magazines or online yet.

    LS320 Bert flywheel part number. Run a 750 carb. Nesmith was advertising complete ready to run packages with headers, ignition box, pulleys, water pump for 9995
