Congrats to Jason Papich
Rented the Wild West shoot out over the last week and it was nice to see someone who contributes to this tech section. Good run Jason. Ryan Konkel

I saw it too was pretty cool to see! That's always been a good looking car!
-
Sorry, been a busy week and I just saw this. Thanks guys we had our best week in Tucson yet, and it was definitely a fun one! Just to clarify, Jason is the driver, I'm just the nanny.
-
Good run Tony.
Tell the boss Dave Bauer wants your photo on the crew bio! You earned it.

Thanks Dave, it was my choice to not have a photo, dont need to be scaring people off!
-
Learn anything new out there? Had a friend from NC helping a driver there too, but dunno how he did
-
Mostly just that we had a good combo going at the end of last season and it is still pretty good. It was nice to be able to get our new car from Darrell thursday night before practice and have it perform as well as it did, craftsmanship at it finest! Who was your friend helping?
-
Sean Bray I believe was his name
-
#14- he's a local, might be a little down on power but a good clean racer.
-
My bud Dave Smith drove down for the show. 06 from Alberta Canada. Steep learning curve I think.
-
Ya, he was pitted next to schatz and our teammate. Definitely got better as the week went on, didnt get a chance to talk to him though.
-
Did you run that big 460 with a stock mount CV pump and run that good? Sorry i couldnt help myself
-
Dont even own a 460!lol. Actually our new car has a rear mount spin pump now, fought some fuel pressure issues in practice but got it dialed now.
-
I did hear one of the big boys changed out a 420 for a 460 ish
-
Hmm, I didn't see anyone doing that . I only know of four of us that swapped motors, but we all "had" too because of issues, us, Jackson, Gustin, and Moyer, don't remember any others . Our Jay D1ckens 432 12* standard bore worked just fine .
