left side wt in a mod
Our driver is a big guy and with him in the car the left side wt was about 55%. Moved the battery to right side, still about 54%. Moved the fuel cell to the right and now its about 53. All of this was with about 11 gal of fuel(22 gal cell). What can we expect this to do to the handling and drive. Thanks

Loosens entry off the gas and tightens exit on the gas.
55 seems the high side of typical but still very normal.

Depends on what tire ur on and what the track conditions are

I wouldn't be afraid of 55% if that is with the driver in the car.

AR kk704 tire, track might be heavy or it might be slick or in between some nights. We ran 55 last yr with the same driver but they want to try it so I guess we will. Thanks to everyone.

If you were good with 55 left on a heavy track, you will be too tight now. However when the track slicks off, your car will be quite a bit tighter which is usually what is needed. My best advise is to call Hoosier and ask them the best operating temps for that tire, then use a pyrometer and adjust your car accordingly. Pm me and I'll help as much as possible.

Thanks for the information but the tire is American Racer kk704. They didn't move the fuel cell I found out today, gonna try what we got and go from there. Thanks to everyone.

Sorry, I meant American Racer. That's the hardest tire they make by far. I would groove and sipe the heck out of it, if ur rules allow. It will take maximum weight transfer to make that tire work properly.

The american racers G-60 or kk704 of today are way softer and give more traction than the hoosier g-60. It has alot more natural rubber and alot less plastic than its hoosier counterpart.

I was basing that off of AR's website. I have used their MD56/70 on late models, and according to their chart, the kk704 is quite a bit harder than those.

I got the durometer out and punched a couple new ones. 60-65 @50 degrees
