G.R. Smith?

Does anyone know what G.R. Smith's plans are for this year? We didn't recall seeing anything about him during Speedweeks and were curious.

Going very fast in anything he sits in................he is a dang lunatic with the throttle.

Fun to watch........hope I get to see him run a little this year.

Yep, he puts on a show. We hadn't seen him run for quite a while until last year. That was one scary ride he took out of Wytheville.

They was calling him the "Cornelius kamikaze" last year. Pretty cool nickname imo.

A full fledged throttle jockey.......( and I mean that in a good way)

He had em covered at the woo race at fayetteville last year ...........slipped once and the touring pros got him.

His first nickname was G.uardR.ail. I heard another crew in the pits give him that name a while back.

I was at both them races and at Fayetteville he had the tire go flat and still finished but at Wythe the nose must have dug in and it messed up a fast car. I love Wythe and that Vic Hill was stroking the field that night till he overdrove a little and cut right rear in turn three, he could have backed off a tad and lapped the field I think.

Governor I'll be at the top of turn 1 Friday and Saturday night but not camping just 35 miles from home.--Leonard

Mike Fulp gave him the name Guard Rail. I have no idea why. But he is probably gonna run clash or ultimate races, and some crate races in the 21 car. He is a wheelman, but he has a heck of a setup man also!

He was headed or Winter Freeze but the car owner changed plans at the last minute .

Should be here April 4 & May 2nd & July 25th

He`s very actiive on FB ..

I have a few good nicknames for mike fulp....................but will just keep them to myself for now.
