Spring Nationals Series Winner's Bonus on the Line at Swainsboro and Golden Isles!

BRASSTOWN, NC (April 13, 2015)—The upcoming Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series presented by Schaeffer's Oil double-header weekend at Swainsboro (GA) Raceway Friday April 17 and Golden Isles (GA) Speedway on Saturday April 18 will now feature a winners bonus.

Track promoters Paul Purvis at Swainsboro Raceway and Darryl Courson of Golden Isles Speedway have joined together to post a $1,000 bonus if the same driver pulls off the weekend sweep of the two Spring Nationals Series events.

Friday's Swainsboro Raceway event pays $6,000-to-win and $500-to-start while Saturday's event at Golden Isles Speedway pays $10,000-to-win and $500-to-start. Now with the additional bonus, if a driver wins both events and captures the bonus they will take home $17,000.

This will mark the first two points paying events of the season at Swainsboro and Golden Isles. Show-up points were given to the thirty-one car field at 201 Speedway on April 2. The series will then move to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. the following Saturday April 25 for the Second Annual Tennessee Tipoff Classic paying $6,000-to-win. Smoky Mountain will host an SAS-sanctioned race on Friday April 24 paying $5,000-to-win in preparation for the Tennessee Tipoff Classic, a complete makeup event after rains on March 13/14 forced the postponement.
