He won 3. It would have been 4 for an extra 50K bonus. Not sure if they are doing the same format this year. 4=50K. 5= 100K, 6= 250K. I do know that the promoter isn't putting the money up, it's an insurance policy that pays off.

I'd say there are a few guys that can win 4... 6 seems pretty impossible but hey

Davenport got 2nd the night that Oneal ran an open sail panel on one side and a closed sail panel on the other and Oneal won. Car was clearly illegal but they didn't have the kahunas to dq him. So that would have made 4 wins for Davenport and $50,000 hence no dq for Oneal. That win plus the one where he didn't scale would've made 5 wins.

    Sounds good Scott!

Not sure if we will make practice on Friday. We may be a little late on Saturday as the Arizona Racing Museum is paying tribute to Windy McDonald on Saturday. We'll probably stop and pay our respects to him, and then head to the track. He and my Dad were close in the '70's and '80s until my Dad moved. Once he moved, Windy ALWAYS treated me good up until the last time I saw him at the track before he passed.

Typicality I have seen em on there. We were ere the day after Thanksgiving for an ASCS race, and I was unsure who was in what car, so I used it that night, and it was on there. They also did for the Western World too. With it being on PPV, I am unsure if it will or not. I am hoping they do so I can know who is who in the Mods and X-Mod classes.

Just a side note on the Short Track Shootout taking place at Southern New Mexico Speedway the following weekend in Las Cruces.

It was initially going to be $5,000 to win all three nights(Friday-Sunday), but the finale on Sunday will now be $10,000 to win. Also, the Mods will race for $3,000 to win on Friday, $4,000 to win on Saturday, and $5,000 to win on Sunday.
