    Default WOO rule change !!!

I might not know much about it but why would they outlaw the sun-visor flap above the drivers door ????

Probably due to some getting it huge and using it as a side board, like Scott's clear window net at Eldora.

Both of those suggestions probably went into the decision.

Why not just a limit on the size? Or do think they already have enough they measure. ( Or don't enforce )
Isn't there already a rule in place. That says the opening has to be so big

Think it became pretty obvious that drivers were using it for anything but blocking the sun when you'd see it on cars at events where cars wouldn't even roll out until the sun had already gone down.

It was never for the sun... it was to keep air out of the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) pit.. aero tool.

When the opening is too big, it can lead to disappointment.

Brsteg-- Even though Bloomers wasnt made to block the sun, i know for a fact as a former racer, that i used it to block out the sun.. Going down the backstretch at 100 then getting blinded once hitting the corner is NOT a good feeling..

I use a tinted helmet shield for those situations

Glare used to be a bigger problem before we had laminated tear offs. Before if you had more then about 14 regular tear offs on you couidn't see for crap but now you can put 21 on and see like you have 4 or 5 of the old ones.
