bloomer..
if it is your loved one then the doctor will probably explain to you what is going on. The public is not entitled to that information.

For a normal person yes. For someone who has a well known name and millions of people wondering if he is ok... I think I’d just tell the truth and not put on an extra show and keep folks guessing People are still wondering exactly what happen to Big E.

Rayflyboy..
It doesn't matter who it is. There are laws in place concerning medical information. I am sorry this upsets you but you have two choices.. stay mad or understand how the law works.

Also.. what extra show? The medical team at the track and at the hospital did what they felt was best for Ryan. Their concern is for the patient.

I would hope so. Why come out at all to the public about his condition then. None life threatening was all they needed to say...

We were at a race in N.C. last year. (dirt car race). A driver hit the wall on the last lap. Didn't look to bad. Well long story short, a helicopter was called in as he was cut out of the car. He was airlifted to the hospital on Saturday night, and someone at the track told me the next week he saw the driver at a flea market on Sunday.(the day after the accident).. And i'm just like.................................man. I saw driver a couple weeks later...looked fine.

I dont know how else to explain it. The family decides what information is released and when it is released. Not ONE single bit is up to Nascar or the doctors.

Don't worry, you gave it your best lol. I know one thing if I'm making the decisions on what to tell the public and go as far as to say his condition is serious, I'm going to tell you the severity or say nothing at all...

It's all a bunch of Nascrap BS! They are making themselves sound like the heroes in all of this because of everything they have done for safety and how it saved his life. It's because of there (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) rules and regulations that these cars all run it packs at 200 m.p.h. and these kind of accidents happen! Another thing.....anybody who just went through what he went through and was released from the hospital would been escorted of the hospital with a nurse on both sides of him or would have been pushed out in a wheel chair! What if he was still a little medicated or woosy and lost his balance and fell on one of his daughter? Where's Nascrap now? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he was able to walk out on his own but something just doesn't add up. I hope for nothing but the best for him and hope has a speedy and full recovery. I feel better now...….
