He ain't skeered to go racing....I've seen hm all over the place in the south.

I watched his grandfather Jimmy Deason race at Newberry in the 60s and 70s, both of his parents are accomplished racers as well as his uncle. His Mom, Deanne Deason (later Knight), had to put up with a ton of BS back in the day. She was a pioneer. Jimmy passed a couple years ago. Mom, Dad, and uncle Dion are very involved with the race team.

Cla began to climb up the finishing orders last season and this first SLM win is well deserved.
