Which spoiler do you run?

So, what are some opinions on how tall of a spoiler to run? NEsmith rules you can run a 12" spoiler.. How many do run the 12" as opposed to a lesser spoiler like 10" or 8"? Or maybe run 12" laid back a bunch if its tacky and up if its dry? Would like to hear some opinions on this topic.
