I called RHS and they said all the raised runner came as 21* and were marketed as 23* “style “???? Does that make them legal if our rules state must be 23* from factory? I am a bit confused about these? I know they make more power and was considering swapping over the winter but don’t want to be wrong per rules. Thanks

Our rule says has to start as production angle 23*. So I guess they will not work here being they start 21? We can angle mill but you can only get to maybe 20* when starting at 23? Guess these would go to 18-19*? Maybe that’s the reason foe factory angle? Thanks for the help

I spoke with him and he said rule states must start as factory angle(23) and per RHS (comp) this design never leaves at 23? Bare casting is 23 “style “ but leaves as 21. Our rules are extremely screwed. Maybe over the winter they will rewrite them? Wish all tracks could get on the same page.

Like I said the rule states had to start factory angle. I guess you can angle the 21 a few more degrees than you could the 23? Also not sure they could have raised the runner .500 if they were a factory 23? Either way that is the way the rule is written at several of our tracks. I am going to bring it up in the drivers meeting tomorrow night. I am ready for them to say hell with steel and us just run all aluminum!!!!

Tech man cleared the air. It would not be fair for me to start with the 21 degree raised runner and claim its “angle “ cut then not let my buddy roll his 14 degree back a little and claim it was “angle” cut. So in our world guess it has to start 23 degree until winter when they rearrange rules once again!
