    604 Hendren Racing Engine

I have a 604 crate engine that was built by Hendren Racing Engines. This motor has had alot of work done to it for alot more extra horsepower. This engine has a custom built cam shaft, heads have had some port work done to them for extra power, cheater valve springs with a new lifters. This engine only has 250 to 300 laps on it since built by Hendren. I ran this engines against open steel blocks and the last race I ran 2nd with it and 3rd overall in track points. Engine comes complete with David Smith racing carburetor, shonfield headers, edelbrock water pump, HVH 1" spacer, crate flywheel, MSD distributor and wires. This engine is not Fastrak or Nesmith legal.

    $6,800.00

Call or text me at 606-922-3221.

I paid a lot extra money to have this motor built knowing that I can't run Fastrak or Nesmith races. I had this motor built to run against steel block late models.

          Illegal is pretty far fetched

This would NO longer be considered a crate engine. He said it's a steel block late model motor. By calling it illegal, you are implying that it was built by a reputable engine shop with the intention of cheating. Doubtful in this case. It would only be illegal if it was used to compete against other crate engines. If that motor can pass as a crate engine at your track then you need a new tech man, not more time on the computer twisting peoples words out of context!
