I am selling out of racing. I have 2 complete front runners. 1 is a 1993 Ford Escort GT, it has 4 wheels and 4 slicks. Has headers and cold air intake, nice cage, instrument cluster and coilovers. Has been scaled and set up for local 1/4 mile asphalt oval. The other is 1995 Ford Escort LX w/ cold air intake. Nice built cage in it as well. This one does NOT have wheels or tires but otherwise is complete with seat and belts. Both are 5 speed manuals. Will also be throwing in my neck brace and helmet. I am selling my trailer as well, it is not in best of shape but it does the job. I will sell it for $150 separate or include in package for $75 extra. For everything I'm wanting $4,750 OBO or without trailer I will take $4,675 OBO .

This must be picked up local, absolutely no shipping unless you arrange and pay for it.

These are in Corbin, KY , about 1 1/2 hours south of Lexington, KY.


TRADES: I may consider partial trade of a stock vehicle, must be 1998 or up. Will have to have at least $1,500 in the deal though.

The LX car has SOLD

Still for sale is the trailer and the 1993 Ford Escort GT


It is a 1993 Ford Escort GT 1.8 DOHC 5-speed, it has 4 race wheels and 4 slicks, 2 spare race wheels. Has headers and cold air intake, nice strong built roll cage, instrument cluster and coilover suspension. Has lead weights placed in a few spots to help with cornering / handling. Radiator fan is wired to automatically turn on with ignition key to prevent overheating issues. Has been scaled and set up for local quarter mile asphalt oval. It is complete and ready to go minus seat and belts. The body is very straight on it and never been in a major accident. It has a nice, clean LEXAN windshield. I will also be letting my car trailer go with the race car. So all you need is a truck with a hitch/receiver and you can come pick up the racecar AND trailer. The trailer does have lights wired up and pulls very straight. You will need to bring chains to secure car though. Trailer uses a metal pin (included) to latch, NOT a ball so you do not need a ball installed on your receiver. I am also throwing into the auction my neck brace support and helmet (size XXL) which is painted to match the car. This is a sure way to get started in racing at the front of the field in the ever growing mini stock / FWD racing series.

I'm asking $2,750 OBO for both the GT race car & the trailer

That just leaves the GT! I'll let it go for $2k cash firm, you will be up front of the pack with this GT escort. very strong and very dependable. 6 wheels, 4 tires , throwing in helmet, neck brace, 5 gallon air tank nearly new, big boy seat and simpson belts.
