Sweetheart 2019 Goes at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday February 16
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY – January 2, 2019 – Tennessee’s Action Track, 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN will officially kick off the 2019 racing season with their Sweetheart 2019 on Saturday February 16 and will see the Open Wheel Modified division highlighted in the track’s richest event ever for the division, paying $2,000 to win for the open wheel warriors. The Open Wheel Modified division will be run under the directions of CT Promotions of Somerset, KY.
The Sweetheart 2019 contest will take place on Saturday February 16 and will see Open Wheel Modifieds in competition in a full racing program of practice, time trials, qualifying heat races, and the 30 lap, $2,000 to win/$150 to start Sweetheart 2019 A-Main event. Other division in competition at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday February 16 as part of the Sweetheart 2019 action will be the track’s Crate Late Model, Modified Street, Classic Car, and Street Stock divisions racing in a full program of racing action. The Crate Late Model, Modified Street, Classic Car, and Street Stock divisions will race under 411 Motor Speedway rules and those division rules can be found at www.411motorspeedway.net and by contacting tech director Joe Byrd at (865) 776-1798. Also, window nets, driver gloves, and RaceCeivers are mandatory at all times in all divisions (no exceptions).
The Open Wheel Modified portion of the event will be sanctioned by CT Promotions, with Open Wheel competitors following the rules and procedures of the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series. The Open Wheel Modified tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier M30 or M60 and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. The Hoosier M60 and American Racer Extra Hard is an option on the right rear of the cars and all tires can be siped, but no grooving of any tire is allowed, while random tire samples may also be taken. Also, there will be NO entry fee for Open Wheel Modified racers at this event.
Activities for the Sweetheart 2019 event at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday February 16 will see the general admission area and pit area open at 9:00 a.m. The drivers meeting will take place at Noon, with practice laps, time trials, and green flag racing set to follow immediately after the drivers meeting. All times are Eastern Daylight Time. Tickets prices for the Sweetheart 2019 event at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday February 16 in the general admission area will be $10 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free. Tier parking and/or a pit pass will be $25, with children ages 12 and under $15 with a signed release.
