Tri-County and Toccoa Up Next for Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals Series on May 10-11

BRASSTOWN, NC (May 6, 2019)—The Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels will visit Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, N.C. on Friday Night May 10th paying $4,000-to-win and Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, Ga. on Saturday Night May 11th paying $10,000-to-win.
This will mark the first-ever series visit to Toccoa Raceway and the third-ever visit to Tri-County. Former Spring Nationals winners at Tri-County include: Casey Roberts in 2013 and Mike Marlar in 2014. In the first five series events this season, there have been three different winners.
On Friday May 10th at Tri-County Race Track, the Spring Nationals Late Models will race 40 laps for $4,000-to-win and $400-to-start. In addition, the Limited/Crate Late Models will race for $700-to-win, the Interstate Welding Modified Street will compete for $400-to-win, the Street Stocks $300-to-win, Pony $300-to-win, Front Wheel Drives $150-to-win and the 602 Beginner division racing for $150-to-win. The pit gates will open at 4:00 pm, the grandstand gates open at 5:00 pm, the drivers meeting is slated for 7:00 pm and hot laps will be around 7:30 pm. Adult general admission is $20.00 per person, kids 11-16 are $10.00 and children 10 and under are free. Adult pit passes are $35.00, kids 11-16 are $20.00 and kids 10 and under are free.
On Saturday May 11th at Toccoa Raceway, the Spring Nationals Late Models will compete for $10,000-to-win and $500-to-start in the ‘Strong Man 73†event. The 602 Sportsman, the 604 Crate Late Models, Toccoa Pro Trucks and Stock 8 classes will also be in attendance. The pit gates open at 2:30 pm, the drivers meeting will be at 6:15 pm and hot laps to follow. Adult general admission is $25.00 per person while Senior Citizens/Active Military are $20.00 in the stands and adult pit passes are $45.00.
