Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series Events at Tri-County and Toccoa Postponed Due to Rainy Weather
BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA – May 10, 2019 – Officials with the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels have made the decision to postpone events scheduled for the tour this weekend at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC on Friday May 10 and Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA on Saturday May 11. With a forecast for continued periods of rain showers in both locations for this weekend, series and track officials have made the decision to postpone both events.
The reschedule date for the event at Tri-County Race Track will now be Thursday May 16, with the event still paying $4,000 to win. This will make for a three-race weekend for the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels, as the tour will visit Crossville Speedway in Crossville, TN the following evening on Friday May 17 for $4,000 to win and conclude the weekend with the tour’s first-ever visit to Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN for $10,000 to win.
The event scheduled for Toccoa Raceway will be rescheduled as part of the inaugural Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals presented by Sunoco Race Fuels tour and will now take place on Saturday September 14, with the event still paying $10,000 to win.
