Biddle Ridley Memorial at North Georgia Speedway Postponed Due to Inclement Weather
(CHATSWORTH, GEORGIA) Due to lingering rain showers and a couple of more rounds of wet weather on the way later this evening, tonight’s $10,053 to win ‘Biddle Ridley Memorial’ at North Georgia Speedway has unfortunately been postponed. A makeup date will be announced in the near future. Tomorrow’s Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series point finale at Duck River Raceway Park is still ON as scheduled. A $10,053 payday will be up for grabs tomorrow for the Super Late Models at the Wheel, Tennessee facility.
“I hate to have to pull the plug on North Georgia tonight,” said series promoter Ray Cook shortly after 5:00pm this evening. “It is raining again here at the track now and there is another round coming at 7:00pm and another one at 10:00pm. This rain that we’ve had wasn’t even supposed to be here and if it was forecasted, I would have postponed it much earlier. Unfortunately, I just don’t see any way we can get the race in tonight. Hopefully the weather will get out of the area and we can wrap up the Spring Nationals season with some dirt flying tomorrow at Duck River Raceway Park.”
