    Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Set for Stop at North Georgia Speedway on Friday, April 24

    (BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) The fifth round of the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series schedule will take competitors to North Georgia Speedway this Friday night, April 24. The first of four series races this year at the Chatsworth, Georgia oval will shell out a $2,000 first place prize. So far in 2026, four different winners have celebrated in victory lane in as many events, as Wyatt Coffey (Screven Motor Speedway), Cody Overton (Screven Motor Speedway), Bryson Hickman (I-75 Raceway), and Nick Deitz (Laurens County Speedway) have all secured Red Clay 602 Late Model Series triumphs this year.

    On Friday at North Georgia, the pit gates will open at 3:00pm and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the storied facility an hour later at 4:00pm. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 6:00pm and cars will hit the racetrack at 6:30pm. Adult grandstand admission will be $20.00, while kids ages 5-11 will be admitted into the stands for $10.00. A pit pass for adults will be $40.00, while kids ages 5-11 will be allowed into the pit area for $15.00. Children ages 4 and under are FREE in both the grandstands and the pits.

    Joining the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series on the racing card will be the North Georgia Late Model, 604 Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Front Wheel Drive, Stock FWD, and Pony classes.     The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for North Georgia Speedway will be Left Front: Open, Left Rear & Right Front: American Racer Pro 2 (88.0 / 90.0), and Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2 or American Racer Pro 4 (92.0). The entry fee for the 602 Late Models will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
