Toccoa Raceway Set to Host 71st Anniversary Race on Thursday, August 20 Featuring Super Late Models $7,571 to Win
(TOCCOA, GEORGIA) The 2026 Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco season will culminate on Thursday, August 20 at Toccoa Raceway. The historic Toccoa, Georgia facility will play host to the track’s 71st Anniversary Race, which will be headlined by the ground-pounding Super Late Models. The winner of the 40-lap feature on Thursday will receive a $7,571 first place prize.
Zack Mitchell is the defending race winner, as he won in 2025 over Garrett Smith, Jimmy Owens, Kenny Collins, and Mike Benedum. The Enoree, South Carolina ace also won with the Southern Nationals at Toccoa back in 2023, while Brandon Overton reached victory lane in 2018 and 2022.
Joining the Super Late Models on the racing card will be the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series ($2,000 to win), Sharp Mini Late Model ($1,000 to win), Modified Street ($750 to win), and Front Wheel Drive ($350 to win) divisions. The action-packed program will then conclude with a 100-lap Southern Nationals Enduro Race paying $2,500 to the winner.
The pits will open at 2:00pm, the grandstands will open at 4:00pm, and the drivers meeting is set to take place at 6:30pm. Hot laps will then light up the racetrack starting at 7:00pm. Grandstand admission will be $30.00 for adults, $25.00 for seniors and military, and $15.00 for kids ages 11-16. Pit and trackside admission will be $45.00 for adults. Kids ages 10 and under will be admitted onto the grounds for FREE.

Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others.
