Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Rolls into Toccoa Raceway on Thursday, August 20
(TOCCOA, GEORGIA) The Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series will roar into the Peach State on Thursday, August 20 for round twelve of the tour. The historic Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, Georgia will host the track’s 71st Anniversary Race on Thursday and a $2,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs for the 602 Late Model stars.
This will mark the lone visit by the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series to Toccoa in 2026. David Smith is the defending race winner, as he picked up a win in 2025 over runner-up Eli Reece, Frankie Beard, David McCoy, and Brandon Haley. Knoxville, Tennessee ace Dawson Lowe will bring the series point lead into tomorrow, as he currently leads a top five that consists of Cass Fowler, Jim Gray, Spencer Singleton, and Bryson Hickman.
Joining the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series on the racing card will be the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series Super Late Model ($7,571 to win), Sharp Mini Late Model ($1,000 to win), Modified Street ($750 to win), and Front Wheel Drive ($350 to win) divisions. The action-packed program will then conclude with a 100-lap Southern Nationals Enduro Race paying $2,500 to the winner.
The pits will open at 2:00pm, the grandstands will open at 4:00pm, and the drivers meeting is set to take place at 6:30pm. Hot laps will then light up the racetrack starting at 7:00pm. Grandstand admission will be $30.00 for adults, $25.00 for seniors and military, and $15.00 for kids ages 11-16. Pit and trackside admission will be $45.00 for adults. Kids ages 10 and under will be admitted onto the grounds for FREE.

The Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for Toccoa Raceway will be Left Front: Open, Left Rear & Right Front: American Racer Pro 2 (88.0 / 90.0), and Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2 or American Racer Pro 4 (92.0). The entry fee for the 602 Late Models will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
