Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Event at Hidden Hollow Speedway Canceled
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Showtime Properties was scheduled to make an inaugural visit to Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson, Kentucky this Friday, September 18. However, track officials reached out to series promoter Ray Cook today and the $5,000 to win event has been canceled. The race will not be rescheduled.
With the cancellation of the Hidden Hollow Speedway date, the SAS tour is down to five races remaining on the 2026 calendar - two of which take place this upcoming weekend. Action kicks off on Thursday, September 17 with the $12,018 to win ‘Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher’ at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee. On Saturday, September 19, SAS action will turn to I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee for a $5,000 to win weekend finale.
After sixteen Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series shows so far in 2026, there have been twelve different winners - Brandon Overton (3 victories), Tucker Anderson (3 victories), Chris Madden, Trae Kirk, Bo Slay, Sam Seawright, Shane Clanton, Michael Page, Jadon Frame, Zack Mitchell, Garrett Smith, and Kaede Loudy. Anderson currently sits atop of the SAS point standings by 132 markers over Kendall Franklin. Dillon Daves, Billy Franklin, and Will Hicks round out the top five in the latest version of the tour standings.
