    Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Schedule Heats Back Up on Saturday at I-75 Raceway

    (SWEETWATER, TENNESSEE) The Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series will invade I-75 Raceway on Saturday, September 19 for the fourteenth event of the 2026 tour. A $2,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs for the 602 Late Model stars at the Sweetwater, Tennessee facility. Bryson Hickman won the previous series visit to the Volunteer State oval back on April 2, as he secured the $2,000 first place prize money over runner-up Spencer Cranfield, Dawson Lowe, Davin Cardwell, Charles Devine.

    The action at I-75 Raceway will officially get underway on Friday, September 18 with an open practice session. The gates will open at 5:00pm with the practice session taking place from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Grandstand admission will be free, while pit admission will be $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids ages 6-11. Children ages 5 and under will be admitted for free into the pit area.

    The driver who lays down the fastest lap overall during Super Late Model practice will receive a $300 bonus, while the second fastest lap for the Supers will pay out a $200 bonus. All other classes - including the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series - will receive $100 for the fastest lap of the night during the open practice session.

    Joining the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series on the racing card on Saturday will be the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series ($5,000 to win), Street Stocks ($1,000 to win), Front Wheel Drives ($400 to win), Mod-Minis ($350 to win), Thunder ($300 to win), and B-Sportsman ($200 to win). The pit gates and tier parking will open at 3:00pm, while the grandstands will start to allow fans into the venue at 4:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 6:30pm and hot laps will take to the racetrack at 7:00pm.

    Grandstand admission will be $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids ages 6-11. Admission into tier parking will be $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 6-11. A pit pass will be $45.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids ages 6-11. Children ages 5 and under will be allowed onto the grounds for FREE. I-75 Raceway is located at 1791 Highway 68 in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The track phone number is 423-599-3026 and the track website can be accessed online at www.i-75racewaypark.com.

    In the thirteen events completed so far in 2026, only Dawson Lowe has reached victory lane on two different occasions. Single race winners include Wyatt Coffey, Cody Overton, Bryson Hickman, Nick Deitz, Chris Woods, Booger Brooks, Charles Devine, Pearson Lee Williams, Dale Timms, Luke Cooper, and Frankie Beard. Although he has not won yet with the tour this year, Cass Fowler currently sits atop of the latest point standings over Dawson Lowe, Spencer Singleton, Jim Gray, and Luke Cooper. At season’s end, only the best SIXTEEN races for each driver will count towards the final point tally.

    The Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for I-75 Raceway will be Left Front: Open, Left Rear & Right Front: American Racer Pro 2 (88.0 / 90.0), and Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2 or American Racer Pro 4 (92.0). The entry fee for the 602 Late Models will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
