Rules:
BODY
* U.S. models, any year allowed. No sub- compact station wagons or pickups allowed.
* Must be complete OEM body, OEM replacement panels OK
* Doors panels may be removed to facilitate roll bars. Front and rear inner fenders may be removed. Fender trimming only as needed.
* Must have stock floor pan.
* Must have fire wall between fuel cell and drivers compartment and must have steel fire wall between driver and engine.
* Doors must be welded or bolted shut
* Protective bars or screen for drivers protection mandatory.
* 6 point roll cage mandatory. a minimum of 3 bars on drivers side.
* No bars are to protrude outside the body.
* Wheel base 108 inch minimum.
ENGINE
* Steel block and Heads only.
* Cast iron or aluminum intakes allowed
* Full roller rockers not allowed. Roller tips allowed.
* #1 spark plug may be no more than 1 inch past ball joint.
* HEI or MSD ignition
* Headers allowed.
* 2 or 4 barrel carburetor , only one carburetor.
* Engine must match make of car .
* Radiator must remain under the hood.
* Fuel cell mandatory, must be located in trunk and securely fastened.
CHASSIS
* Stock frames only, uni-body cars may be tied together.
* No racing control arms allowed, No weight jacks allowed, no welding on A frames
* One shock per wheel in stock location , No coil overs or aluminum body shocks.
* 8 inch racing wheels, Steel only. Bead locks allowed.
* 1 inch lug nuts mandatory.
* Tires 8 inch maximum no mud and snow tires allowed. Hoosier and American racer allowed
* Car must weigh 3200 lbs before qualifying, after heats and features.
TRANSMISSION
* No aftermarket racing transmission, Must have forward and reverse.
* Must be stock passenger type rear end only
