The ADRA & USDCS At COAL MINERS CLASSIC!!!

THE ADRA & USDCS JOIN FORCES FOR THE COAL MINERS CLASSIC!
Apple Grove, WV. July 28, 2011~The American Dirt Racing Association (ADRA) presented by Suddenlink and the United Super Dirt Car Series (USDCS) will join forces in honor of our region’s coal miners in the 2nd Annual Coal Miners Classic paying $5000 to win Saturday Night August 6th at the Lucky 7 Speedway in Whitesburg, KY. The ADRA Late Model Series operates mostly to the Northeast of our region while the USDCS Late Model Series operates mostly to the Southwest of our region. (www.suddenlink.com)

“We’ve been trying to do something together all year,” explained USDCS Director Tracey Burchell. “But weather and other circumstances have kept us apart. This crown jewel event in honor of our region‘s coal miners is the perfect opportunity to finally be able to bring the 2 series together. We love our miners and we’re thrilled to be a part of all this.”

Lucky 7 Speedway is a .35 mile semi D shaped, semi banked, dirt oval located at 6290 Hwy 7 North Whitesburg, KY. 41858. The racing surface is 100 feet wide at its narrowest point! The track is billed as the”Home of 3 Wide Racing”. The Lucky 7 fans will attest that is an understatement. Lucky 7 Speedway gets em’ slideways every Saturday night with some of eastern KY’s finest talent. The top 5 in Late Model points includes; #11 Oscar McCowan, #60 Mark Sturgill, # 0 Feddie Brock, #711 Jackie Fields, and #18 Michael Wright. (www.luckysevenspeedway.com )

The USDCS has a super charged bunch of hot shoes in their own right with the #17 Bobby Carrier Jr, #17C Tommy Carlton, #97 Michael Chilton, #4Victor Lee, and #88 Dustin Linville rounding out the top 5 in points. (www.usdcs.com)

Some of the region’s other drivers coming out to salute our coal miners are: “The Outlaw” Jackie Boggs, “Bad Fast” Josh McGuire, Harold Redman Jr, Shannon Thornberry, and “The Kamikaze Kid” Tyler Carpenter just to name a few. More entries coming in daily!

“When we call up racers and tell them we are putting on a show in honor of our coal miners,” stated ADRA Competition Coordinator Rocky Estep, “it isn’t too hard to get them to commit. We are thankful the Lord has blessed us with our miners and our drivers. It is a blessing to get to work with Josh Baker and the Lucky 7 Speedway crew, Tracey Burchell and the USDCS crew, and the ADRA Late Model Series as well. Ain’t God good?!”

Why is the USDCS going to co sanction a race with the ADRA when there wont be any of the USDCS drivers being able to attend because of prior commitments. The 88 and 97 are also close in points in the S.T.A.R.S POINTS. And if there are any that will attend it will be drivers not in contention to win the series points.I my self have heard that the 97,88,17,17c wont be making the trip and that's the top 4.and looking at the website seems to me TROUBLE is brewing some sponsors have pulled out and some changes to the officials was made without there knowledge .Well seems to me like another series that coulda been wont be...........Good luck to the ADRA
