SAS EAST & FASTRAK Join Forces to Create "ULTIMATE" Super Series

Mix of engine combinations allowed in new SAS EAST-ULTIMATE Super LM Series

$60,000 in point monies, 16 races in the books and drivers signed up!

In an effort to allow everyone to compete in the new SAS East – ULTIMATE super late model series most engine combinations will be allowed. The GM 525, steel head-steel block, steel head aluminum block, open late model engines, and the new 415 spec engine will all be allowed with different combinations of weight and spoiler. “Stan and I wanted everyone to have a chance to compete” said Lennie Buff partners of the series. “There have been numerous inquiries about the GM 525 and from the steel block drivers, plus the $18,000 415 aluminum spec engine FASTRAK has been working on. Of course the open configuration super engines will be allowed too. This gives everyone a chance to compete in the largest Super Late Model series point fund in the South East”.

With 16 races in the books and teams already signing up, there seems to be no doubt this series is on its way to having a very successful season in its initial year. One unique concept of the new series is the ability for tracks that are holding ULTIMATE events, the opportunity to do local marketing with no less than five teams per race. “This method of marketing allows our tracks to utilize actual cars to market the race the day of the event” said Jody Palmer. We believe it will be a huge asset to the tracks.

“I am looking forward to 2011” said Timmy Mac of SAS East. “We have already scheduled more events than we had in 2010 and it’s only December. I can easily foresee 18-20 races this year. I can’t wait till the season gets started”.

16 races are already booked. If you have an interest in an “ULTIMATE” Super Late Model Series event, or interested in becoming a sponsor with the series please contact one of the people below.
