ROARING KNOB SEASON OPENER
This coming weekend some of the top FASTRAK Pro-Late Model Drivers will travel to the Roaring Knob Speedway in Markleysburg PA to see who will claim the $3000 to win 50 lapper Spring Super National Championship.
Promoter Rick Jones, “This is a great way to kick off the 2012 season. There is a lot of money on the line for the FASTRAK teams. I am sure it will be a great raceâ€, Jones also noted that during the winter months more clay was added to the track.
On Friday March 30th the track will have open practice for all divisions from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
On Saturday March 31st you will see time trials, heat races and a dash for the FASTRAK Pro Late Models and the Roadrunners will have heats, dash, B-Main/s and the 30 Lap Feature plus the Chargers will run heats and a 20 Lap Feature.
Finally on Sunday April 1st the FASTRAK Pro Late Models will have a C-Main Feature for $500 to win, B-Main Feature for $1200 to win and the A-Main Spring Super National Championship 50 Lap Feature for $3000 to win. Plus you will also see the Street Stocks in action with heats and a 20 Lap Feature.
Gates will open at 12:00pm on Saturday and Sunday with racing at 3:00pm.
General Admission: Friday March 30th-FREE, Saturday March 31st - $12, Sunday April 1st - $15.
Pit Admission: Friday March 30th - $20, Saturday March 31st - $30, Sunday April 1st - $35.
