CLMA DIRTcar Series at Vernal, UT 9/21 & 9/22

The Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print will making the trip to Vernal, UT to race at the fast 1/4 mile of Diamond Mountain Speedway for our last two Northern races of the 2012 season on September 21st & 22nd.

There has only been one other race in the history of the CLMA DIRTcar Series held in the state of Utah and it was at this track in 2006. The race was won by Dean Moore of Grand Junction, CO.

Each night of racing will be a complete show. Each night will pay $1,200 to win and $225 to start the A-Main.

Going into the last two Northern Series races of the year at Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah on September 21st & 22nd we have one of the closest points races in Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Series Presented by Indy Screen Print history. 2010 CLMA DIRTcar Series Rookie of the Year, Jason Schierkolk of Casper, WY is leading 2011 CLMA DIRTcar Series Champion, Scott Lewis of Henderson, CO by 35 points going into the final 2 races of the Northern Series season.

When the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print races at Diamond Mountain Speedway on September 21st & 22nd any driver that travels over 300 miles will make a minimum of $275 to start the A-Main both nights. Also, any driver that is in the top 10 in Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print points will make $275 to start the A-Main both nights.

.I just wanted let everyone know that due to one of Diamond Mountain Speedways major sponsors backing out at the last minute the Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print races at Diamond Mountain Speedway scheduled for September 21st & 22nd have been cancled.

This mean that the 2012 Championship Late Model Association Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print is complete and Jason Schierkolk of Casper, Wyoming is the 2012 Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print Champion. Congratulations to Jason, his crew, and family on winning his first caree CLMA DIRTcar Series Championship!!!!

I hate to hear the race was cancelled---I was going to be withing 1 1/2 hours of the track next weekend and was looking forward to this race.
