Montpelier Motor Speedway To Host 1st Annual Outlaw Showdown Weekend
With over $10,000 in guaranteed purse money on the line each night along with a total of over $20,000 for the weekend, the 1st Annual Outlaw Showdown Weekend at the Montpelier Motor Speedway (East Central Indiana) should be a fun event for racers and fans. Each night will feature a complete program and payout for competitors.
UMP Modifieds will be given the option to compete topless at the speedway for the first time in nearly 13 years while the Super Street and Thunder Car divisions will be given the option to race in normal configuration or use sprint car style wings to find the fastest way around the speedway. The race weekend will also feature special features for the weekend that will exclusively only allow drivers who have yet to pick up a 2012 win to compete and will guarantee new first time winners for the 2012 season.

Please note that the topless and “outlaw†style of cars are encouraged for the fun of racers and fans for the weekend, but it is NOT required (you may compete in normal configuration).
