The Days Inn of Rincon, GA is conveniently located on Highway 21 approximately 30 miles from the speedway. The Days Inn features restaurants, a Wal-Mart, and other stores within a short distance from the hotel.
Fans can ask for the "Screven Motor Speedway" rate to receive the following rates: King Size Bed for $39.00 per night or a Two Double Beds for $49.00 per night.

For what its worth , we stayed at the sylvania inn last year......place wasnt the ritz Carlton but wasn't a dump either.....the owners were friendly and gave us a break when we mentioned we were going to winter freeze.
Nice small town hotel and would stay again.

but another $20 bill gets you in a verrrry nice HIExp down near I-95

It is the only one w doors on the inside of the halls...

something that the bands we use require..... especially these days ...

I personally don`t like opening the door to the outside..

WINTER FREEZE IV ' OPENS UP ' 2014 RACING SEASON FEB 7th & 8th @SCREVEN MOTOR SPEEDWAY

After 17 years of operating Screven Motor Sports Complex , a multi-track facility, nestled in between Savannah, Augusta, & Statesboro Ga featuring dirt track stock car racing, a drag strip, a Kart track and mud drags , James ' Bigg Redd' Griffin knows his race fans, & knows his competitors, " I know what works & what does not work in this area, we make it a family fun experience with an accent on the best racing shows we can bring to the area.

For instance, this years Annual 'Winter Freeze IV' February 7th & 8th, we have brought in the three top drawing classes and massaged the tire rules to allow more competitors to come in and race for a better show for all. We even have practice dates January 25th & February 1st so everybody can dial in their cars for what we anticipate as the biggest event ever held here. It`s even going to be streamed live on our own netcast network over the internet for those that can`t get here to see it in person " Griffin is the 2011 Promoters Workshop Southeast 'Promoter of the Year'

The high horsepower super late models headline the weekend with a complete show each night paying $12,000 to win & $1,000 per cars to start. " We anticipate a strong field of cars from over 30 plus states, we had 39 in 2013 with a more restricted tire rule, but the year before we had over 60 cars so we opened it back up and we have been very pleased with all the responses. Defending Champ Shane Clanton, from Locust Grove Georgia , Clint Smith from Senoia Ga, have indicated they will be here along with a strong number of other touring pros, Regional Series & local track Champions, but we have some drivers down here in Southeast Georgia, Casey Barrow, Chesley Dixon, and a few more that have proved they can run with the best the road can bring in here and the phones have been ringing with this being one of the highest paying races of the Georgia - Florida Speedweeks @ $48,000 per night just for the Super Late Models.

The Carolina Clash touring series has offered up extra points for their drivers that may be coming in for the Saturday night event . We even have out Georgia State Outlaw Champion from Rock Hill S.C, Ben Watkins, coming in with a smaller engine package but with a taller spoiler that will give the super drivers a run for their money. I`m very excited about this showdown. The fans are going to love this "

The Screven late model class also races both Friday and Saturday night with 4 different engine packages & produced 41 cars at last years event. " We had a series of races with what I call our ' Super 7' in 2013 and each engine package won an equal number of events, so they will produce some great racing for the fans w $2,000 on Friday and $3,000 on Saturday going to the winners

Real grassroots racing will be represented at 'Winter Freeze IV' with the Southern Outlaw Super Street Series with racing for the more localized drivers from the area that have banded together , formed their own series, and pretty much police themselves and their rules, producing over 30 cars at their events and racing for $1,500 on Friday and $2,000 win on Saturday night
