The Thursday practice night is just 3 weeks from tonight and we start racing for the pole three weeks from tomorrow!!!

It's been 10 years since the passing of Doug Murphrey and the start of Louisiana's biggest Open Wheel Modified event. This year's sponsors have helped Ark-La-Tex Speedway put up a great, *NO entry fee* purse once again!

The total cash purse for Saturday's Modified main event exceeds $30,000 with another $2200 in product certificate awards from COMP Cams, Quarter Master, Driven Racing Oil and FAST Technology going to the top 3. 23 starting spots will come from qualifying races on Friday and Saturday with the pole winner receiving $500 from Forest Hill Growers. Superior Graphix of Haughton, Louisiana will give a full body wrap to the hard charger of the A-main.

But that's not all... NON-qualifiers will have a drawing on Saturday for both cash and product certificates totalling at least $5500 in value. A minimum of 35 teams who do not make the top 23 in qualifying will be getting at least a $100 value back.

If you're keeping count, that's a total of $37,000 in cash and awards that will be going out with a total entry fee of... ZERO! No fees, no licenses required and no car registrations. Just buy your pit passes and race!

The weekend begins with a practice night on Thursday, June 2nd from 6 to 10pm. Pit pass will be $20. Grandstand is closed Thursday. You do not have to be present on practice night to draw in and race on Friday.

Friday's races consist of qualifying races for the Modifieds as well as qualifying races for Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks and ProMods and the Beginner class will race a feature. Grandstand entry is $15 with kids 10 and under free in the grandstand with accompanying adult. Pit pass is $35. Start time is 7:30.

Saturday races will consisist of A-qualifiers for the Modifieds, any last chance races for Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks and ProMods and features for all four classes. Four-cylinders will have both qualifying races and a feature on Saturday only while the Beginners will run their second feature of the weekend. Grandstand entry is $20 on Saturday with kids 10 and under free in the grandstand with accompanying adult. Pit Pass is $35. Start time is 7:30.
