Dunn Benson Ford and Campbell University to Sponsor Lucas Oil Late Model Series event at Fayetteville Motor Speedway and Race Party
Dunn, NC (July 2, 2017) – Dunn Benson Ford will once again be the Title Sponsor for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National event at Fayetteville Motor Speedway on July 6th. This year’s event will also have additional sponsorship from Campbell University located in Buies Creek, NC. The “Dunn Benson Ford Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial Presented by Campbell University†will honor the Gray Family and Wayne Gray Sr. who passed away November 2, 2013. Wayne Gray Sr. was a close family friend of Carlton and Kemp Lamm and was an epitome of integrity in the Fayetteville NC community. He built the successful W.G. landscaping business which is run today by his sons Wayne Gray Jr and Tony Gray. This event is in memory of Wayne Gray Sr. and his legacy of truth, honesty, loyalty and love that still carries on through the Gray Family.
Campbell University in association with their partnership with Dunn Benson Motorsports in 2017, will be the Presenting Sponsor of the national event at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC on Thursday July 6th when the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series makes its only stop in the state of NC. The Dunn Benson Ford “Wayne Gray Sr. Memorial†Presented by Campbell University, will now be even bigger with Campbell’s presence at this National event. Campbell University will use this event as an opportunity to entertain incoming recruits, students, past alumni and inform race fans about Campbell University and their different programs they offer to students not only in North Carolina but nationwide.
To help kick off this big event and celebrate the July 4th Holiday, Dunn Benson Ford will host a Race Day Party, Presented by Campbell University on Thursday July 6th from 10am til 2pm at the Dunn Benson Ford dealership in Dunn, NC. Everyone is invited to attend the party that will include the “Iconic†NASCAR Wood Brothers car #21 on display, Race Cars, Hot Rods, Military Vehicles, Door Prizes, Kid Activities, Merchandise, Food, Music, Drawings for FREE Tickets to the Lucas Oil Race that night at Fayetteville Motor Speedway and Meet and Greet Miss North Carolina 2017 Victoria Huggins. Campbell University Mascot “Gaylord†will also be here to entertain everyone and have a good time.
