Jesse Lowe Lands in Crossville Speedway Victory Lane
Crossville, Tennessee (08/22/17) – For the 17th time in 2017 Jesse Lowe parked his Xtreme Pressure Washing #5j Hampton Backhoe Service CVR Race Car in Victory Lane. The win came on Friday night at Crossville Speedway.
Piloting the McBurnett Insurance #5J Crate Late Model, Jesse Lowe returned to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday evening. Timing in quickest in a field of 14 cars, Jesse earned the pole position for the A-Main.
Taking control of the lead early, Jesse Lowe streaked to his fourth-straight win and 17th overall on the season. Steve Russell, Zach Shannon, Scott Cooke, and Deke Waters followed Lowe across the finish line.
On Saturday evening the team traveled south to Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fort Payne, Alabama) to pursue a $2,500 victory with the United Crate Racing Association (UCRA). Via preliminary action Lowe locked into the 6th-starting spot for the finale.
He raced in the Top 10 throughout the feature before registering a 7th-place finish in the final rundown.
“Crossville has been very good to our team this year, and Friday night was no exception,†Lowe said. “On Saturday we kept tuning on the car throughout the night, but we just couldn’t make up any ground in the feature. We’ll take a Top-10 finish though and move onto the next one.â€

This weekend – August 25-26 – Jesse will take part in a pair of local events in his home state.
