Team Prepares to Tackle the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Shreveport, Louisiana (01/30/18) – Black Diamond Racecars and Earl Pearson Jr. are the newest addition to the MSR Mafia team, and a brand-new website has been launched for the team at www.RaceBlackDiamond.com .
The championship-winning chassis manufacturer has launched a house-car program for the 2018 campaign, and has tabbed five-time national champion, Earl Pearson Jr. to be behind the wheel.
The potent combo will be pursuing the 2018 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) crown with their Black Diamond Racecar #1 Lucas Oil Products/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. Pearson is a four-time LOLMDS Champion.
“It’s been an insanely busy past few months, getting everything ready to go,†said team owner, Ronnie Stuckey. “So many folks have stepped up to the plate to make this dream a reality, and we can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work and incredible support. We are definitely eager to hit the track this weekend.â€
The championship chase kicks off this Friday and Saturday at Georgia's Golden Isles Speedway. On Friday evening a $10,000-to-win program will be contested, while Saturday night will see a $12,000-to-win event on tap.
