Dennis Erb, Jr. Rallies to Seventh in $30k Show-Me 100; Pair of MARS Battles Ahead

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The #28 team was in the pit area at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri from May 24-26 for the 26th edition of the Lucas Oil 'Show-Me 100,' which was once again sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The three-day extravaganza in the Show-Me State started with a pair of $6,000 to win preliminary programs. On Thursday night, Dennis Erb, Jr. unfortunately missed out on the 45-lap main event after finishing sixth in his heat race and tenth in his B-Main. At Wheatland on Friday evening, Dennis placed fourth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later rallied past eleven competitors during the 40-lapper on his way to a steady eighth place performance.

By virtue of accumulating the seventeenth most points during preliminary competition, Dennis rolled off from the inside of the ninth row in Saturday's 100-lap headliner. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace was on the move early and often during the $30,000 to win 'Show-Me 100' and picked off ten racecars en route to a strong seventh place effort. Dennis still sits thirteenth in the latest version of the heated LOLMDS point standings heading into the month of June. Full results from Memorial Day weekend can be found online at www.lucasdirt.com.

With no Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show on the calendar over the June 1-2 weekend due to the last minute cancelation at LaSalle (IL) Speedway, Dennis Erb Racing is now gearing up for a pair of MARS Racing Series programs in the Land of Lincoln. Dennis will vie for the $3,000 top prize on both Friday night at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and on Saturday evening at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois. More information concerning both of these weekend races can be viewed by clicking on www.marsracingseries.com.
