Jeff Taylor Breaks Out the Broom in Arkansas and Missouri
Cave City, Arkansas (06/19/18) – Jeff Taylor entered two events over the weekend, and he conquered two events in his Industrial Electric #5 Wehrs Machine/ Precision Performance/ Taylor Race Car/ Friesen Chevrolet Engine IMCA Modified.
The Arkansas traveler won on Friday night at Batesville Motor Speedway, and backed it up on Saturday night by winning the feature for the second-straight week at Legit Speedway Park.
“We’ve won five of our last six races, and honestly I’m as pumped as I’ve been in a long time about our racing program,†Taylor declared. “We’re onto something with this car, and as long as I keep doing my job in the driver’s seat there’s no reason we can’t have a very successful second half of 2018.â€
On Friday night Jeff Taylor traveled to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas), where he was competing in a field of 16 IMCA Open Wheel Modifieds. Racing to his fourth victory on the season, Jeff topped Brandon Walsh, Mark Norris, Ken Schrader, and Clay Norris at the line.
The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri) in a field of 13 entries, Taylor streaked to an 8-lap heat race win from the fifth-starting position. Rolling off sixth on the grid for the feature, Jeff cruised to his fourth-straight win and fifth overall victory of the season.
Ken Schrader, Rustin Miller, Brandon Walsh, and Brad Gholson followed Taylor across the finish line.
