Jeff Taylor Wins for the Third-Straight Week at Legit Speedway Park
Cave City, Arkansas (06/26/18) – Jeff Taylor continued his red-hot streak over the weekend by piloting his Industrial Electric #5 Wehrs Machine/ Precision/ Taylor Race Car/ Friesen Chevrolet Engine IMCA Modified to the feature win at Legit Speedway Park.
The victory marked his third-straight win at the facility and his sixth win in his last seven starts.
“We’re continuing to make some changes and tweaks on the ole hot rod, so we decided we’d head back to West Plains on Saturday night to try some things, and everything worked out really well,†Taylor said. “I greatly appreciate everyone, who supports this program and my crew guys for busting their tails. We’re on a heck of a hot streak right now, and hopefully we can keep it rolling.â€
Saturday night found Jeff Taylor in action at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), where he returned to the driver’s seat of his Taylor Chassis #5 Open Wheel Modified.
Gaining four spots in his 8-lap heat, Taylor scored a runner-up finish behind Sawyer Crigler, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the feature.
In the finale Taylor patiently worked his way through the field before ultimately capturing his fifth-straight victory and sixth overall of the season. Tyson Franks, Shane Kelley, Rustin Miller, and Chad Tilley completed the Top-5 finishers in the 20-lap affair.
