Gregg Satterlee Breaks into Victory Lane with LOLMDS at Muskingum County

Indiana, Pennsylvania (07/05/18) – Gregg Satterlee brought an abrupt end to his 2018-winless drought on Tuesday night at Ohio’s Muskingum County Speedway. The personable young driver wired the field in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event in his Satterlee Petroleum Distributors #22 Valvoline/ Rocket Chassis XR1/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model to pick up the $12,000 prize.

“It’s no big secret that this season has been a struggle for our team. This is a tough group of cars we’re racing with this year,” Satterlee commented. “If you’re off just a little bit, you don’t even finish in the top 10. But we’ve been working hard … we’ve had a good car the last couple nights and I said, ‘We just need to get a whole night put together and we can win one of these races.’ On Tuesday night we were able to do that, and man it feels great to get back to Victory Lane.”

Tuesday night brought the team to Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) to do battle with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

Satterlee started the night with a heat race victory, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the A-Main. Blasting into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Gregg led flag-to-flag to pick up his first win of the season and a $12,000 payday.

Darrell Lanigan, Jonathan Davenport, Josh Richards, and Hudson O’Neal completed the Top-5 finishers in the 50-lap affair.

Greg is currently in 11th in the latest LOLMDS point standings. For full results from these events as well as the latest standings, please visit www.LucasDirt.com .

The team’s ultra-busy schedule with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series continues this weekend with a triple header in the South. On Thursday night action opens at Jim Long’s Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) with a $10,000-to-win race before moving to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Friday night for a $12,000-to-win program. The triple threat weekend draws to a close on Saturday night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) with another $12,000-to-win affair.
